ABOUT

I've spent more than 20 years making technology work for the people using it.

Not just implementing it. Not just training people on it. Actually understanding how people think, how they work, and what they need from the technology in front of them before anything gets built or deployed.

That's been the thread through everything I've done. And it's the foundation of every engagement I take on today.

HOW
        STORY
BEGINS

Early in my career I was part of a large migration from Google to Microsoft for a large organization.

The technical side was handled well. We completed the implementation on time and under budget. By every technical measure, the project was a success.

The client didn't see it that way.

The organization had decided to handle change management, communications, and training internally. They did basic how-to training and built guides that showed people the old way versus the new way. It wasn't enough. Users were frustrated, adoption was low, and leadership considered the project a failure despite everything the technical team had delivered.

That experience changed how I work. The technology was never the problem. The investment in the people using it was. And no amount of clean code or smooth implementation makes up for that gap.

I've never forgotten it.

My Philosophy

That experience shaped a set of convictions I've held ever since.

I won't take on a project unless the client is genuinely investing in the human side of it. I've seen too many times what happens when that investment isn't there. The technology gets built, the budget gets spent, and nobody uses it. That's not an outcome I'm willing to put my name on.

I also won't gather requirements from anyone other than the people who will actually use what I'm building. Not their managers. Not the stakeholders who commissioned the work. The actual humans doing the job every day. They're the ones who know where the friction is, what the edge cases are, and what a solution needs to do to actually fit.

That's not a methodology. It's just the only way I know how to do this work and have it mean something.

over 20 Years of This Work

I've spent over 20 years in technology consulting and technology training. The through line across all of it has been the same: understanding the human using the technology so the solution actually works for them.

I've designed and delivered training programs, led large scale technology implementations, driven AI adoption inside organizations, and built custom AI and automation solutions for teams with specific problems that off the shelf tools couldn't solve.

The work has spanned industries and organization sizes. What stays consistent is the approach. Understand first. Build second. Never the other way around.

Let's Talk

If you're an organization looking for someone to help your team actually adopt AI, or build something specific to how you work, I'd love to have a conversation.

And if you're an individual who wants to build your own AI skills and stop feeling behind, you're in the right place too.

Either way, the next step is simple.
